Minimum of 3 years work experience for those above 21 years old. Academical entry requirements minimum Level 3. 80 UCAS tariff points or equivalent qualifications (e.g. 60 Credit Ofqual qualification at level 3). 5 GCSEs at Grade C/4 or above or equivalent qualifications. If applicants aged 21+ do not meet the standard entry requirements, we take into consideration life/work skills which would make them suitable for undergraduate study with our Foundation program. All applicants must be assessed by the GBS Admissions team via an interview for listening and speaking skills and for writing via a statement of personal reflection. The foundational year of the course centers around building an understanding of today’s key topics within business and management. What you learn and develop during this Foundation Year course will be essential for your progress moving forward. The next three years progressively build up your theoretical and practical understanding in areas including marketing, organizational behavior, international business law and strategy.
Identifying new business opportunities, including new markets, new clients, new partnerships or new products and services Creating strategies to successfully reach new business opportunities Building relationships with new clients, gauging their needs and developing proposals to address these needs Maintaining and developing relationships with current clients Pitching sales and products to new and existing clients Attending conferences and events to build relationships with industry partners and stayind up to date with new trends Creating sales forecasts and actively working towards reaching them Possessing a strong understanding of the company’s products, the competition in the industry and positioning Managing and training a business development team Collaborating with design and sales teams to ensure that teh requirements are met
Develop strategies and tactics to get the word out about our company and drive qualified traffic to our front door Deploy successful marketing campaigns and own their implementation from ideation to execution Experiment with a variety of organic and paid acquisition channels like content creation, content curation, pay per click campaigns, event management, publicity, social media, lead generation campaigns, copywriting, performance analysis Produce valuable and engaging content for our website and blog that attracts and converts our target groups Build strategic relationships and partner with key industry players, agencies and vendors Prepare and monitor the marketing budget on a quarterly and annual basis and allocate funds wisely Oversee and approve marketing material, from website banners to hard copy brochures and case studies
